My poor arm...

Hey there people!

I'm really sorry for not posting for so long, I've hurt my arm, and haven't been able to go on the computer.

Anyway, I still love you guys and don't think I've forgotten you because I haven't. I may not post on here that regularly though, because everytime I make a promise to myself I fail and then feel bad about it.

I hope you're all really well!

It's like, 6 months since my last post. I've been really slack with this blog.

So, what's been going on in your world?
We've been getting ready for Christmas. We got our Christmas tree today, and are going to decorate it this evening, which will be lots of fun!
Another of my sisters will be coming to Australia next year, yippee!
There have been a lot of secrets in our house lately. Ruthie is crocheting something (she never crochets because she doesn't have time for it), and Mother sewing something, and neither of them will tell me what's going on! They just say "You shouldn't ask questions around Christmas time." So I've been making presents for Ruthie and the dolls. Mini Kirsten is getting a rag doll, and mini Molly is getting a leotard. I haven't made the others yet.
Anyways, I'm trying to get back into blogging, but no promises, k? Everytime I promise to do better, I always let everyone down, so I'm not promising anymore.
Did I tell you I got another AG doll a while ago? I got Elizabeth! I saved up for so long, but I'm really happy with her, she is such a cutie and well worth the money.
Ruthie got Felicity for her birthday, so now they can be best friends, which is pretty cool.
I guess I'd better go now.

Do you like old steam trains? Well, I went for a ride on one, and it was so much fun!

It was quite bumpy, and you could feel the train rocking from side to side. I almost fell of my perch on the window-sill a few times! Here are the photos:

Sorry they are a bit blurry, it was because the train was moving so fast, and it was impossible to get a really good one!

Back after a while...

Hi everyone!
I'm finally back to blogging, after taking a long and unexpected holiday. My sister, Ruthie arrived last week! It gave me the biggest and nicest surprise ever, because no one told me she was coming home! So yeah, I've been pretty busy playing with her and stuff, but I'm glad to be back again. My name is Baby Ariel, and today I'm going to show you how to be cute. I hope that these tips will help you.

When you go to bed, have your eyes peeping out, like this.

Cuddle your dollie and wear a big nightie to make you look smaller.

Wear some cute little pink boots like these to keep your tootsies warm.

(Without the dummy. Not as cute!)

If it's hot, there's no reason why you can't strip off to your nappy. You're just a baby, after all.

And if you've got in trouble, do the innocent look like this, and start crying for maximum cute effect. This will work on most people, but not all.

Yesterday, a package arrived in the mail. It was addressed to my cousin, Janet!

She opened it up, and inside were her glasses! Here are some photos:

Notes:

The glasses came from a doll shop called "Kayleigh's Doll Closet" on eBay. They are not as good quality as AG ones, but still cute.

All our clothes are handmade by mother.

How to design a dress for your American Girl Doll

Hi everyone!
Today I'm going to show you how to design a dress for your American Girl doll!

Sorry, don't know what happened to this one :(

You will need:

Your doll

Some paper

A pencil

And an iPad for research and inspiration (optional)

Once you have got a few ideas, start designing by drawing the dress outline on paper. Then add in the details.

And any notes that are important.

Colour it in

And make sure you show it to your doll before you finish! You need to get her approval first before you go ahead and make it.
